SENIOR CENTERS

The Spanish Speaking Elderly Council-RAICES is currently sponsoring six congregate Senior Centers.  Four in Brooklyn and two in Queens.  These programs provide a number of nutrition, health, educational, social and recreations services to a diverse elderly and minority population.

Each Senior Center offers the following services:  Cultural, Recreational and Educational Activities, Celebrations, Trips and Outings, Case Assistance Service, Benefits and Entitlement Counseling, Information on other RAICES sponsored programs and referrals. 

Hours of operation is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and lunch is served daily at all locations from 12 - 1 p.m..  Breakfast is also served at the Red Hook, Raíces Times Plaza, and Wyckoff Gardens Senior Centers from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
